Enhanced Retail Solutions for Award Winning Natural Chews
The Client
At MJE Creative, we previously worked collaboratively with Barkworthies to explore dynamic new concepts for their retail displays. Barkworthies is a leading brand in the pet care market that is known for their natural ingredients and winning formulas that combine naturally sourced products with unparalleled craftsmanship and quality. They were looking for the right retail solution to showcase their award winning natural chews and the unique qualities that set them apart in the highly competitive petcare market. So we worked with them to develop the right solution that speaks to today’s pet lovers.
The Project
The goal was to develop a solution that would be a fine balance of desirability, functionality, and viability. It needed to reflect the integrity of the brand in the most impactful way. After an in-depth consultation with the key decision makers, we uncovered several strategic design improvements that could be made to enhance their product displays. We analyzed their retail experience to gain a deeper understanding of the buyer’s journey, considering everything from the square footage of the retail space to the visceral impression of the product and how the brand was being communicated at every physical touchpoint.
We re-imagined the retail experience and developed several iterations on how the products can be displayed. The final solution allows the products to be easily displayed anywhere in the store – from the end of a checkout counter, to the center of an aisle. This helps to increase their chances of getting into new retailers as well as their chances of selling more products. The final solution also does not take up too much space so retailers don’t have to dedicate significant linear space for the rack. This is a key issue that they had with previous displays.
As a result, the client was extremely pleased with the results of the POP display because it helped to ensure their product release was a success. Today, the Award-Winning Natural Chews display has attracted popular appeal from both pet consumers and retailers.
